Fettuccine Alfredo

This is some really delicious homemade alfredo! Beats any jarred stuff from the grocery store, tastes restaurant-made.

Ingredients:

☆ 1 box of fettuccine pasta

☆ 6 tbsp salted butter

☆ 2 tbsp flour

☆ 1 ½ cups heavy cream

☆ 1 ½ milk, ideally whole but 1 or 2% is fine

☆ ½ cup Parmesan cheese

☆ ½ cup Romano cheese

☆ Salt and black pepper, to taste

Directions:

☆ Step 1: Shred your cheeses. If you have a rotary grater, use that! Grating cheese is super painful for me so I prefer to use accessibility tools like that. ☆ Step 2: Cook your pasta in salted water, al dente. It'll cook the rest of the way when you stir it in with the cheese mixture!

☆ Step 3: Melt your butter in a pan and add the minced garlic. Cook this mixture for a minute.

☆ Step 4: Whisk in the flour and add your heavy cream and milk. Gradually add in your cheeses while stirring.

☆ Step 5: Stir in your cooked pasta. Let everything stand for a while, the sauce will thicken up nicely.

☆ Step 6: Enjoy!!! ^ q ^

This is a great fairly low effort meal that tastes restaurant quality, especially if you have helping hands!
